Finally! Paris! We got up around 9...got some rolls and stuff and headed out to the cathedral of Charte before paris... This is my aunts favorite cathedral and also my granddads so w ehad to stop... ive already been there but it was still cool... i lit a candle for my granddad... this cathedral famous for its stainglass windows...i ll put some up later... so we finally got to paris midafternoon and checked into our Fancy fancy hotel....its reallly nice... then we to a walk about... and saw the sights...we took a boat up and down the little river and saw all the sights from afar...it was a good introduction to hte city...we then had dinner at a crepe place which was realllllly good...if u dont know what a crepe is its like a pancake they they fold over and put stuff in and on top...it was great...after we were full and happy we headed out and walked back to our hotel enjoying the cool air... we got back late and tried to make a decision on whether or not to try to make it out to the tIME trial on sat... we couldnt findd enough info so we nixed it... by the time we were done it was almost 1 so we headed to bed...there was a few problems with our room though... we couldnt find the switch for the batheroom...so it was usless and the air conditioning didnt work...we were pissed...we called the consierge and they fixed the light and was very snooty french to us...very steryotypical but couldnt fix the air so we switched rooms the next day....

Today was our first full day in paris...we woke up in our hot room and headed to a little sidewalk cafe for hot choclate and pastries for breakfast...we walked around a buit after that and then got a museum pass...we headed through the louve to get to the musee d' orsee ( the more modern museum) it had allo the impressionist and everything so that was great to walk throguh... i jus spent the time onthe top floor w/ van gogh and monet manet degas renior ect ect ect....that was good... after that we left my cousin to explore ht toehr parts of the musuem and we headed to a cafe to watch Lance and the tour... he won by a minjutes today!!! he wins the tour! i cant wait to see him in YELLOW tommorwo and be the champ for the record 6th time... how cool... anyways were gonna be heading out for dinner soon so im gonna put some more pics on and then head out ttyl!!

So we finally made it to france after a few very long days of driving... We got up and had breakfast and headed off to try to find the MAgiot Line ....which is the line that France builtto try to keep germany out of france in ww2....OBviously didnt work... and it was evident cause all we found of it was a little glimse of a wall marked "magiot line" off the high way... lol sillly french... we headed off and got to our first french town around 630...we were all worn out so we ate dinner early (700 is an early dinner for the french...and hit the sack... yesterd morning we got up and drove to a Boutineer(or something like that) to get some bread and pastries for breakfast and headed to the catherdral of the city which was really intresting because of all the ww2 dammage in them... like the artillary holes and what not... soon we got on our way to the champagne area...we drove pretty much all day and got there too late for the tour of the champagne tunnels... so thats what we did this morninmg... it was pretty tite.. and there was reallly good champange at the end...its reallly a very intricit proces... yeah the picture is from the grape fields for the champagne....there were MILES of them everywhere.... it was a mazaing... we got on our way for a supposedly 4 hour drive to a town accros paris called Chion... but eneded up taking closerto 6 or 7.... i started and finished Animal farm for my seccond book... gotta love taht book its great...anyways we got here too alte to watch the TOur de france... the Alpduez time trial was today and ijus watched the replay of Lance elimentating the entire competiion...He's gonna win it... its almost for certain... well ita lamost midnight here so im otu ttyl

After a six hour drive (which i slept half of and finished my book the other half) we made it to Rottenburg Germany...THe picture tells ti all and really doesnt do it justice at all. Its a quaint old germany town from way back... it had survived a lot of wars (ie. 30 years ww1 ww2) and now is jus a big tourist attraction... it was great to just walk around and see how life must have been hundreds of years ago. we got there late inthe day but in time to go to what my cousin, really wanted to do... see the medieval Torture muesum... that was interesting to say that least and pretty sick... after we had dinner... uggg... lol but it was Really GOOD! i had my first pint i mean i am sixteen (angelas ashes anyone???) it was a tradtional huge ass dark german beer and then i had Viener Schnitzel (Breaded pork) for dinner... that was greeeeeat... after dinner we took the "night watchmans" tour which was a tour given by a guy taht dressed up as the people that guarded the towns.. it gave a lot of iinfomartion but it was jus nice to be out walking the streets... that pretty mjuch conluded rottenburg... Garmish is next....

Ok ya'll sry i havnt updated this is awhile but we've been driving a lot and didnt have internet connection in Rottenburg, Germany... well a lot hass happned and as i recall i left u when i was just about to go see the windmills... as u can see this is one of the three we saw... Holland was great... that day we went to a little town first around 2 hours away that looked the same as it had a long time ago...with all the origanals houses and a WOODEN SHOE factory... how cool! so we wandered through that and then headed to the windmills...these were for pumping water out of the ground to make sure it doesnt flood. THey were wooden and still work... i got video of it becdause it was very windy and quite stormy... who knew that it actually rained in the summmer...lol aftrer taht we headed back to the hotel and double checked what was ahppening in the Tour de France... had a dinner at the hotel (evidently holland is not known for their food) and then we headed to Madurodam. THis is a little amusment park which is a scale model of Holland... for instance all the BIG building were like 8 feet tall and everything was to scale like the airport and the people and the caste... it was a good way to see holland easily!... so that pretty much ended our stay in holland... i havntg been sleeping very well... usually wake up at 230 and dont get back to sleep...but im doing ok in the car rides... one really cool part was on the way out we stopped in the gift store and the dutch storeowner and i started talking about football and how Van Nistrolly (the star of machester united and the Netherland national team) jus got married... its a blast to be able to converse w/ people that love soccer even mor ethan me...anyways next stop...rottenburg germany...

OK let me explain the picture first... this is our "high tea" where we get tea and little bit sized sandwiches and scones w/ jelly and of course pastries... if u spot the chocolate one...that was mine and it was soooo cool cuase it had a actual GOLD fleck on it... yes real gold that i got to eat... it was great!... anywways let me update ya'll...

so yesterday was our last day in London... i didnt not sleep welll... got up at 230 in the morning and didnt get any more after that ... owell im traveling suck it up... so we had an early breakfast(830) and then headed to Westmister Abbey to see all the dead people buried there like alllll the English kings and queens and also people such as Charles Dickens and what not... after that i wanted to see Trafalgors Square so we took the tube to there and after a few pics... we hit the National Gallery which was reallly tite... we saw artist like van gogh turner vermeer renior Monet claude ...ect it was a great muesum ... we had to storm through it though cause we did not have much time... after we got out we took a cab to The Britist Muesum where they have artifacts from around the world... the coolest thing was we saw the Rosseta Stone...the stone that gave the ability to translate hyroglyphics .... i bought a lil paper weight of it... aftern tgaht we were out of time so we grabbed some fish and chips ina pub and headed back tothe hotel for our bags... we got a van and headed to the airport... i slept all the way there... we took a flight out to AMsterdam and then drove to our hotel in holland... went to sleep right away....

Today we got up i took a shower we had breakfast and now were just about to head out... were gonna see the Windmills of holland and also i REALLY wanna get a few pairs of wooden shoes... how sick would that be ?!! anyways we need to get out... ill post more pics later... they take forveer to upload.

OK i dont have much time cause we dont know how much were payikng for this internet so owell... ill postmore pics when we get cheaper internet... this is my favorite so far of Big Ben... Let me catch u up on my first two days in london...

Day 1

This was the longetst day ever.. dannnng.... so on the 10th a sat. we spent the day watching the tour
and packing and around 330 we headed off to the airport. we checked in and still had 2 hour to watste so i had somme last chinese food for awhile... our plane flight was a nice 6.5 hours but it was pretty col cause we were like in a step above coach but below buisness. so we got a lil better service and some leg room which was helpful. We had our own tvs and could play crappy games too!I was pissed though cause they had terrible food as usuall and onoly once service drink of these migit sized sprites... i spent most of the time watching Dirty Dancing "havana nights" and 50 first dates... so i didnt get as much reading done as i should have.. .owell... we finaly got to the air port and stood in line for customs for an HOUR it was terribly croweded and not fun for a ton of jet lagged visitors... we got through and got our bags and took a taxi to our hotel... it was great seeing how these british drive onthe wrong side of the road. we got to the hotel and took 3 hours for a nap and a shower... jus to get a little rest for a day in england cause we arrived in the country at 7am after we got up we took a cliche double decker bus tour around london which was sooooo fun cuase our guide had a "lovely" english accents and used catch frases such as "fantasic" "wonderful" "fantasic" it was sooooo english!... he cracked a otn of jokes against america too... for instance a group of kids with long black jackets on walked by and our guide was like "look there gonna go shooot up a nice school!" lol bad humor but jus funny... i got some nice pics too that ill put up later. We heard lenny kravitz in londons equivelent to Central park.. that was cool... we got back to the hotel and ate a fancy dinner there cause we were jus exausted... then i went up stairs too k a loooong BUBBLE bath and went to bed... like i said a LOOONG DAY

Day 2:

So after a much needed night rest we got up at 830 and had a great breakfast with cheese and salami and bread and jelly... then we took the "tubes" (SUBWAY) to the london tower... the tower whcih was a fort for william the conquer and later used as a place to hold the people that would be beheaded.... that was interesting... it was "quite" fun... we also saw the crown jewls which were HUGE... after that we were tired (legs) so we headed to harrods were we had a light lunch (very expensive) theen shopped (my aunt and cousin mainly) then had HIGH tea... we had scones and pastries and tea .... it was "delightful" i had the afternnoon blend with some cream and 3 cubes of sugar... that was an expierence... after that we took the tube home and here i am! were heading out to a pub for lunch which im excited for... thenwere gonna see trafalgors square...so still a lot to do... ill put up more pics when im in Holland... i got some great souviners...ill tell ya later i dont want to waste too much time.;l.....EMAIL ME or COMMENT On the site!!!!!!!!!!! ttyl
